Glider formed in 2001, a collaboration between Tim Allan (Vocals), Mike Morecroft (Guitars) and James Neale (Drums).  Glider from the start was about friends enjoying good music and writing original indie-pop songs.  As their ambitions grew so did the line-up with James Ives (Guitars) and Loz Hood (Bass) joining in 2003, adding an extra dimension to the song-writing as well as much needed depth to the live sound.   This remained the core Glider line-up until they split in 2009.  Since then there has been the occasional collaborations between band members and they remain good friends.  When the time is right, they look forward to bringing back the Glider sound.
